Attention - Zoom function etc:

The zoom was in conflict with scroll on mobiles. People wanted to scroll down and kept on getting the zoom. We changed the zoom for mobiles:

In order to trigger the zoom you need to "touch" the pic for 30 milliseconds - the zoom etc will then (should then..) open.

If there is any problem with that, please let me know below my post..

Igor, i too am having problems with safari not allowing for right clicking. your comment about dragging it to a folder gave me an idea. i was able to hover, zoom, then drag the image to the tab bar and it opened the image at full size in a new tab.

Okay...I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. The hi res pic is pointless to me unless I can save it to view it. I don't like viewing it with the zoom function...if the photo is large, it zooms in too close and you loss the appeal of the photo...although it does make it easy to appreciate some of the finer details of the photo... ;)

Well...see my other replies on this page please...we are facing a can of worms.

On iPad there is no way to save a high res pic, since to save, one must hold a finger on the photo until a box opens allowing to choose "Save" Now, holding with finger opens zoom function only.

hahaha..thats true for iOS 8.0+ - I just tested it. Seems that we have a new conflict now between zoom and save on iOS8+.
I need somebody to come up with a genius idea or maybe open a nice bottle of wine here and rethink the problem. It looks like any thinkable "manouver" of your fingers is already taken by one or another built-in function on one or another mobile device.--which basically means another "save-button" which basically means more and more space for buttons and space is rare on mobile devices. Crazy dilemma.

To those with talented hands ...My work around is use 3 fingers clumsy but will work, Use one on home, one on power off , add third to zoom, then press home and power off same time will capture photo. hope this was helpful ...... Lelo

Zoom worked great 3 days ago, Zoom now works ok with mouseover, But right click and left click disabled when in zoom. after I zoom that first Photo can not save any photo viewed after that, even if it is low res. But on occasion if I mouse fast enough with a right click I can save in low resolution . . mouse trigger Mousemove ? Using Firefox Windows

I've got the same issues. I'm using Firefox 34.0. It's running on Windows ( I believe its Windows 7 Home Premium) on an Acer PC. Windows installed a new update several days ago...could that have something to do with the recent surfacing of this problem?

In answer of your question...Firefox 34.0 running under windows vista64 on computer.. Save feature worked fine until early this morning when fix for Ipad installed. Zoom works fine but when zoomed mouse click is disabled when curser is on zoomed pic.
Question: is the Cloud Zoom dependent on Adobe Flash or updating of an "LSO" in order to right click?

A great big huge THANK YOU!!! Much better...how about the scrolling issue with PMs?... I can only read half of the messages and can't pan across the screen to see the other half or shrink down the view to see the entire message...iPhone 6

 Igor    Dec. 17, 2014
VCity Userpic

yes yes...we tested with iPhone 5s and the huge iphone 6 but not with standard iPhone 6. I tried today and you are absolutely right. We will find a solution, thats much easier to fix than the crazy zoom vs scroll vs save problem..hehehe

Yep..but now we opened a new can of worms..see the other msgs on this page. You dont have any genius idea, do you?

Doesn't work on mobile. Galaxy S5

 Igor    Dec. 17, 2014
VCity Userpic

I tried. It seems to take a little bit longer on the Galaxy compared to iPhone and Firephone...try again please..it is almost 1 sec until zoom opens on the 5s, dont ask me why the internal timer/trigger counts time slower than the others...

flag as inappropriate Michelle    Dec. 17, 2014

That works now. New problem though. I can't watch videos from my wall. I can't zoom out far enough to get to the right side of the video to hit full screen. I have to go to the video section to watch.

flag as inappropriate dasheep    Dec. 16, 2014

has now broken the zoom feature on regular browsers making it impossible to right click the image

flag as inappropriate Mike    Dec. 16, 2014

I have the exact same situation as dasheep, using OSX 10.9.5.

 Igor    Dec. 17, 2014
VCity Userpic

OSX 10.9.5 up to 10.10.1, also good for Snow Leopard:
1st: Zoom by hovering the image, THEN rightclick after zoom opened. IF for any reason right click does not work (we noticed that on Chrome an Safari on one out of 3 Macs, don't ask me why) DRAG the zoomed image into a folder. One of these two always works.
I know...crazy shit...but right now we have to solve the huger issues with mobiles before we can dig into the differences of two "identical" macs behaving differently.
